Nutrisystem’s Diet Scam Secret!

Would you have thought that one can get healthy, eating crap and manufactured garbage (you can’t call it food for sure). Here they are, advertising that you can lose all the pounds you need with Nutrisystem by eating their prepackaged, manufactured foods!

As a Cert. Nutrition Specialist and a huge advocate of Whole Foods and whole food lifestyle, I just can’t sit still and let you be fooled by this gigantic food manufacturer, because this is the biggest diet scam of the last couple of years. The last idiotic diet scam was Slim Fast – what a garbage! Do you really expect to get healthy by eating and drinking Nutrisystem’s foods? How could you?

What REAL Food looks like!

Where are all the vegetables and fruits, where are the vitamins, minerals and enzymes?

Does this sound like the healthy diet you should be eating to avoid diabetes, cancer, heart disease, allergies, high blood pressure and all of the degenerative diseases we all are trying to avoid. What the hell is Nutrisystem doing to all the overweight people out there? What is their motto? We will help you lose weight with low calorie, low nutrition food if you pay us, but you will die of all kinds of degenerative diseases in the long run anyway! Holly cow? Shame on you, Nutrisystem! This is a big diet scam, the biggest diet scams out there! Stop lying to North Americans and Stop selling your crappy manufactured toxic laden garbage which you call food.

Are you asking yourself what your diet SHOULD look like? I bet you already know!

Your diet should be filled with

  • vegetables, raw and steamed or baked
  • whole grains – brown rice, millet, sprouted grains etc.
  • fruits
  • some lean natural meats and fish – natural, organic, no antibiotics added
  • maybe if you have to, a little whole and organic dairy (I don’t suggest it)

You should be juicing every day and supplementing with green juices, because vegetables and fruits are life food – life food is health and nourishment. North America, start cooking your own darn foods! How did we become so lazy as a continent? You can’t spare 30 minutes to cook dinner but you can call take-out and wait on your butt while watching TV for up to 45 minutes? And go broke doing it!

This has to change! Take these steps and yo WILL lose weight – you WILL get healthy – you WILL be a role model to your children – Because you deserve to live a long and healthy life!

What every Mother ought to know about Danger-Foods to small Children!

Do you give dangerous foods to your children? Why would you? You are a great mom. Right?
There are many dangerous foods I see parents give to their children. Don’t make the same mistakes. Foods that are sometimes OK for us adults are not appropriate for infants or small children. You should stick with whole foods, better yet home cooked whole foods. Never reheat pumped breast milk in the microwave or any food for that matter. Cut round, slippery foods like berries or grapes in half so they don’t slip down their throat. Strawberries can cause allergies, especially skin disorders. Don’t give any strawberries to small children under two years of age.
Other danger-food to avoid are:
  • Single cheese slices (Rancid Oils, NON-Food
  • Milk Products (Hormones, Pesticides, Chemicals, Antibiotics)
  • Fast Foods (Rancid Oils, Contaminated Meats, NON-Food, MSG, Chemicals and on and on)
  • All Chips (MSG + Rancid Oils)
  • MSG (in most manufactured products)
  • Cereals
  • Crackers
  • Cookies
  • Ice cream

Now to the most dangerous foods for infants and small children.
Flours: Avoid for the first 2 years. Flour promotes mucus and allergies in infants. The best grains and flours to use with small children is kamut or spelt pastas as well as breads. These old grains are well tolerated by small children.
Raw onions and garlic: Raw garlic and onions are too strong for little tummies but make great cold and anti-worm medicine.
Use no salt under 1 year of age: There is enough salt in natural foods like grains and vegetables for children. You can slowly increase the salt intake after 1 year.
Rancid oils: Avoid refined and rancid cooking oils (like in fast food fries and nuggets) as well as margarine, shortening and all treats made with hydrogenated oils. All of these fats and oils block fat metabolism, resulting in a bigger chance of nervous system development, emotional instability and degenerative diseases later in adult life.
Raw foods: Too much raw foods can weaken children, especially infants and toddlers, by reducing their digestive strength. Raw vegetables like lettuce, radishes, carrots, and potatoes can harbor parasites. If a child shows deficiency like low weight, low energy, pale complexion, weak voice, introversion and feels often cold or has loose stool, keep uncooked foods to minimum. Your child suffers from excess if you witness aggression, loud voice like screaming or yelling, thick tongue coating or red face and wants lots of cold fluids and little clothing. In case of excess your child needs more salad, fruit, raw or lightly cooked sprouts. Juices from vegetables and barley-grass are also very helpful.
Avoid all refined sweeteners like fructose and white sugars
Chocolate: Chocolate contains a caffeine-like substance, theobromine, which contains oxalic acid, it can inhibit calcium absorption. As a treat, chocolate always contains refined sugars and processed milk.
Fruit: Use only if children are fully fit and vital. Too much fruit can encourage colds, runny nose, ear problems and general weakness. In the winter and cold weather, fruit is best eaten cooked, especially if children are sick or weak.
Raw Honey: It sometimes contains small amounts of the toxin botulin. The underdeveloped digestive systems of little kids and infants don’t have the ability to fully digest the toxin botulin. Botulin in raw honey has been known to cause infant death, this acute food poisoning is called “botulism”.
Limit or avoid strong spices and condiments: Not only can spices damage children’s mucus lining and give them digestive problems but small children’s taste buds are so pure, little spice can be overwhelming to small kids.
Legumes: Sprouted beans and pulses are easier to digest for kids and adults. Sprout them for about 48 hours before cooking. Don’t feed small children under 18 month any legumes.
Sprouting breaks down their protein into amino acids and the starches in to simple sugars and it also creates valuable enzymes and vitamins. Sprout Legumes just until they have tiny roots.
Peanut butter: Children can be allergic to peanuts or develop reactions like skin disorders. Don’t give peanut butter to small children under 2. Peanuts are heavily sprayed with chemicals and are grown on land saturated with synthetic fertilizers and it might also have a carcinogenic fungus aflatoxin. Only use organic peanut products sparingly or avoid all together to be safe.

Peanuts are heavily sprayed with chemicals and are grown on land saturated with synthetic fertilizers and it might also have a carcinogenic fungus aflatoxin. Get Rid of Funky Spunk Once and For All

This is more and more a problem among men. They don’t understand why it happens to them, worse, men (and women) actually think it’s normal. Let me tell you one thing: It is absolutely not normal and definitely not healthy.

It is easier to say,”I don’t like doing that”, then saying,” you have a funky tasting spunk.”

Could you be to Acidic?

Your body should be at a healthy PH-level between 7,37 – 7,45. The lower your personal Ph-level the more acidic you are. Personal acidity comes not only from bad food, alcohol, smoking and junk food, our body’s PH-level gets affected by stress as well. You can download my “Acidic Foods, the good, the bad and the ugly” here in a couple of days.

What are the obvious symptoms of acidity?

Well, there are a couple but the most important signs are change in color of the whites of the eye (grey, yellowish), bad breath, digestive problems like acid reflux and heart burn, weak immunsystem, rashes, funky spunk, weight issues and more… These are some important signs to look for but you don’t have to have all of them to be acidic. If you have one of these symptoms then you are most likely too acidic and need a change of diet and lifestyle.

What can you do today to turn it all around?

It’s quite easy.

  • Stop drinking alcohol
  • Stop eating lots of meat and milk products
  • Stop drinking pop/sodas
  • Stop smoking
  • Stop eating only fast foods
  • less sugar, less pastries
  • less bread
  • less coffee
  • less chocolate
  • less stress
  • more exercise
  • more veg
  • more fruit
  • more water
  • more juicing
  • more water (I know I said that already but it is really important)
  • more herbal tea

If you can incorporate the changes into your lifestyle then your lady is going to be –  how can I put this – very appreciative?! You know what I mean. Now go on and make yourself a juice. By the way, eating some pineapple or drinking pineapple juice once in a blue moon is not going to turn the wheel around. Put in more effort – and I guaranty you – she will too!

How to fight the Aging Process and strengthen your Immunsystem

Fasting is the abstinence from solid food and addictive substances like alcohol, coffee and drugs for a specific time. This is for therapeutic maybe even for religious purposes. Fasting will support your body by resting your digestive system. Do you know why this is so important? Now that you are fasting, your body can use the energy (calories) you are getting by juice fasting to use elsewhere in your system to heal and repair “stuff”

  • I had a client who healed a very old knee wound he sustained in a car accident.
  • Couple clients that cured Hemorrhoid after years of suffering.
  • A Lady who cured syndrome x
  • IBS gone after years of suffering for a teenager

Fasting for 3 to 5 days is considered a short term fast. If you go longer it’s a long term fast. I have seen people go 40 or more days on a juice fast. In our days, I do NOT recommend a water only fast. It is very harsh on our bodies and involves major detox symptoms, which may need hospitalization if you are very toxic to begin with. For expert fasters it is possible to finish a water only fast but don’t go over 10 days. The best idea anyway for seasoned fasters is to combine a juice fast with a water fast. This is done as follows: 5 days juice fast followed by 2-3 days of water fast, again continued by 5 days juice fasting and so forth.

People with blood sugar problems could be adversely affected by a juice fast. I recommend to fast only if you talked to your doctor. (They will not agree with your decision anyway)  If you have syndrome X (insulin resistance) please use only vegetable juices instead of sweet fruits. You can add some granny smith apples for lunch, but do not use them for breakfasts or by themselves and always dilute the juices.
I do believe, that people with high blood sugar can extremely benefit from a juice fast. Your body could in fact “reboot” and use insulin in a more efficient way, if you stick to a changed and improved diet after your fast. (more about the diet later)

Did you know that your body can not get to the nutrients in your vegetables and fruits because it’s encased in fiber? Some 90% of the nutrients in produce we eat are eliminated with the vegetable fiber as it passes through the body. This is why juicing is so important these days, the full 100% of the nutrients in the vegetables and fruits can be absorbed by our body, since the juicer does all the work for you and separates the juice from the fiber in the process. Our system can digest and absorb the juice in about 30 minutes without weighing down the digestive system.

Scientific gibberish, How to read Food Labels

food-labelIdentifying “funny” things that are added to your food is hard work. For many people all that gibberish on food labels sounds like a different language. Many people wonder if calcium propionate added to our bread is necessary or would potato chips be potato chips without BHA. If you never had to read or understand the food label, you probably never had reactions or allergies to food additives. Food additives are used in food manufacturing to make food saver for consumption, improve color and flavor as well as texture. Some individuals are sensitive or even allerigc to some of the additives, like my mom: She is sensitive to all preservatives and some colors in foods. (her skin on fingertips crack and peel off)

Did you know that some people are so sensitive to sulfites that the individual can get deadly asthmatic reactions to the food? Watch out for restaurant foods as well. Some restaurants prepare their potato dishes with soaking them first in a sulfite solution before cooking.

Currants stop Cancer before it starts?

It’s not the high value of vitamin C that excited researchers. Gary D. Stoner, Ph.D., director of the cancer chemo-prevention program at the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center in Columbus says, ellagic acid is a member of a disease-fighting family of compounds know as polyphenols. Raspberries, strawberries, and grapes also contain polyphenols. In laboratory studies, ellagic acid has been shown to be a powerful antioxidant, meaning that it helps neutralize free radicals, harmful oxygen molecules that are missing one electron.

What are free radicals? Well, free radicals are harmful oxygen molecules which are missing an electron. So they try to replace it with one from your healthy cells, therefore causing cellular changes which could lead to cancer. Ellagic acid has also been shown to block the effects of cancer-causing chemicals in the body at the same time it stimulates the activity of enzymes that fight cancer growth. Because of these two reasons, ellagic acid in currants, make it a powerful ally for blocking cancer.

Doctors are not really currantssure how much currants you would have to eat to get the cancer fighting effect. Dr. Stoner speculates that four to six servings of fruits (including currants) and vegetables a day is enough to substantially lower your risk of developing cancer.

Please be smart, only if you eat healthy whole foods like fruits and vegetables plus follow a exercise program can you prevent degenerative deseases. But including cancer-fighting foods like currants you could enhance the effect!

How do I get rid of Dark Circles under my Eyes?

I get lots of questions about dark circles under the eyes or tired eyes. Let me burst your bubble right now, there is no cream that can replace the tips I’m about to tell you. There is no wonder cream out there, that can help you with the dark circles and puffy tired eyes. But you already knew that…

Dark circles under the eyes is a sign of poor digestion and/or poor kidney functions. There, I put the whole truth out there and you did not have to spend a cent for it.

Of course will I also tell you the steps to fix the problem and get rid of those nasty dark circles and get beautiful rested eyes like young girls have back.

The first thing is to detox your body and all your major organs, like lungs, kidney, liver and so forth. You don’t have to go to Hydrotherapy but it is necessary to clean the colon by eating fruits, vegetables, whole grains and vegetable juices every day. You should also use some sort of fiber colon supplement if possible.

Drink plenty of water, unsweetened tea and vegetable juices every day to clean your kidney and assist your liver with the detox. You will feel better and more energetic in about three days. Don’t be alarmed if you have some headache or feel tired during the first couple of days, it’s part of the detox. Just let your body do it’s work so YOU can do your job and live a healthy life.

Don’t eat any sugar, candy, pops, coffee (one cup if you have to) meat or pastry for at least 2-4 weeks. After these weeks you will feel like a new person. You will feel and look at least 10 years younger and have more energy then you ever had in your life.

The Potato conspiracy?

Why do we always hear only the bad side of the potato. Everything “they” tell you is, it makes you fat, high glycemic index, to much sugar…! What happened with all the healing properties and vitamins and minerals of the potato?

Potatoes help you to keep your acidic body in check. The Potato is a very low calorie food, high in nutrients and starch. What do you think how the potato measures up compared with fresh soft cheese, eggs and cheese if it come to vegetarian protein? Actually, the potato has more vegetarian protein than any of these choices. Only meat exceeds the potato in their bio availability of protein, but it does not attack your arteries!

Most of the vitamins and minerals are right under the skin, so if possible, get young organic potatoes and do not peel them. The best way is to bake or steam the potatoes to keep most of the vitamin C and minerals inside.

Warning about the green spots on Potatoes, they contain solanin, which is not good for our bodies. You can get head aches, sore throat, stomach aches and diarrhea. Please make sure to cut around green spots and discard it.

Turmeric – for Liver and Gallbladder and more

Turmeric is the Asians favorite spice. No Curry would be complete without the color and aroma intensive powder.  The old knowledge of Ayurveda teaches how turmeric supports our digestive tract and detoxifies our body and soul.

The healing properties of Turmeric are found in the yellow colored curcumin and its oils. Turmeric is also used as an antiseptic and to fight of certain fungi.

It is currently being tested for possible benefits in Alzheimer’s, cancer and liver disorders.

Why do we have Cellulite?

How can you clean a house without taking out the garbage first? Well it’s not possible?

Your body will not let you get rid of the fat on your but and thighs without cleaning out the toxins and acidity. Since it is your body’s job to keep all the bad stuff away from your vital organs like heart, lungs and kidneys, it moves it as far away from them as possible. Logically, they end up in your fat cells, which get bigger and bigger. Can anybody say Cellulite?

Your brain also tells you to eat more since the available space is limited. To make more space your body creates more fat cells so it can store more toxins. To protect YOU from harm, your body keeps fat cells full. This means that if you don’t detoxify your body and do a fast, you will never get rid of the fat. Loosing weight will be so much easier if you rid your body from toxins and then start a whole food life style and exercise program.

Sadly and ironically in a land of plenty, on a continent of excess, many people are so highly deficient in vitamins and vital minerals as a horrific result of our food productions and processing methods. These deficiencies will lead to all sorts of horrible degenerative diseases, because dead food leads to dead cells. The question is not if – the question is when.

So you are telling me that you eat whole grains and organic foods and make sure you only buy whole wheat bread and so forth. Now consider this, most maufacturers make exceptionally poor-quality organic foods available, for example the organic white sugar and various organic cane juices and cane juice powders, which are simply refined sugar – unless it specifically says “unrefined”. Most of the time the word “organic” is used to mask an unwholesome food. Only because it says “organic” that doesn’t mean it’s good for you or your children. Manufacturers use the highly obsessed over big “O” to lure consumers to buy bad foods and it nearly fools everyone and it is one of the most deceiving and sickest marketing games today.

Even harder to metabolize and worse for your health than white sugar are the refined oils. If the product is not labeled with “unrefined,” then they are refined and these commonly used canola and other oils are the worst foods that can be eaten.

There is no Right- for- all- Diet, and with diet we always refer to the daily foods you eat not a calorie or fat reduced way of eating. Some people need to be vegetarians because of the love for animals or are even vegens.  Others prefere to eat raw-vegens or just raw. Not every body is suited for one kind of diet and every body has to figure out for themselves which diet is right for them. You can also be in between raw and whole foods, for example if you eat 60-80% raw but sometimes like to eat some broiled fish with steamed vegetables or some organic broken bone and vegetable soup.

All you really have to remember is this: 100% Whole Foods or at least 95%.

  1. Eat a varied and abundant organic vegetables and fruits (organic most of the times or all the times)
  2. Eat organic, range-fed animals without antibiotics added and grain fed animal products, about 4 ounces daily (animal protein is optional)
  3. Choose a variety of plant seeds like roasted pumpkin seeds, ground or soaked flax meal and legumes
  4. supplement with sea vegetables and micro-algae, including chlorella, wild blue-green algae, and spirulina
  5. add healthy exercise every day

The perfect balance in your body is one of the most important things, the balance between acidity and alkalinity. Let me give you an example: Meat, fish, sausage, eggs, noodles, white bread, processed foods and sugar are very acidic to our bodies, but most veg, salads, tofu, fresh herbs, fruits and many more things are very alkaline (acid neutralizing) to our bodies.

Many people don’t pay attention if they have heartburn or a sour stomach, but they really should. That is a very specific sign that you are in deed acidic and need to change your diet and lifestyle. Yes I now, I’m preaching about the healthy lifestyle again and eating right blah, blah, blah…

But listen, do you want to end up like older friends and relatives, sick with all kinds of industrialized illnesses like, gout, arthritis, migraines, type 2 diabetes, cancer, obesity…? No? I didn’t think so. If you’re experiencing some or more of these symptoms you can reverse them with a whole food diet.
